8/11 Lucky & Pozzo Take Minneapolis

Check it. Attending Fring Fest in the beautiful, venue strewn city of Minneapolis, Lucky & Pozzo made some gas money entertaining a new crowd. It was hotter than levitating lipstick lesbians making love in lucid doorways, but we persevered.

Here's some pics:

Some stories:

- quite a few requests for "surprise me"
- the first woman we approached was deaf. She gave a dollar and asked for a dog impersonation (using sign language) she was dissatisfied.
- we got kicked out of the place we ate breakfast at. it was like this: after performing for the deaf woman, there was a group of people inside, at a table, staring out the window at us and waving. Obviously they wanted us to come inside. So we did. They asked Kate to do "something amazing" so she started drinking hot sauce from the bottle. Then the proprietors came over, called her a dummy and kicked us out.
- kate resurrected a dead dog by singing near it.
- a dishwasher from the restaurant, apparently inspired by our performance, snuck up behind us a few blocks away and started screaming, contorting his face and moaning like an imbicile. then he staggered back (presumably to the restaurant) like Quasimodo.
- for 'lie down in traffic' kate did one better, walked into traffic and then into a car that had stopped, and pretended it hit her and fell into the street.
